Ensi- ja turvakotien liitto on mukana pohjoismaisessa naisiin kohdistuvan
väkivallan vastaisten työn keskusjärjestöjen verkostossa Nordiska Kvinnor Mot Våld. Tänä vuonna verkoston kaikille avoin konferenssi pidetään Malmössä 23.-25.5. ja sen järjestää Unizon. Konferenssikielinä on englanti, osittain myös pohjoismaiset kielet. Alla Unizonin kutsu tapahtumaan.

Since 1994, the Nordic Women Against Violence has worked together to support and inspire each other and to share knowledge and experiences.
Each year, one of the countries in the network hosts a conference.
This year, Unizon is proud to welcome you to Malmö, Sweden!
We look forward to gathering under the theme:
The future of the Nordic women’s movement against violence!
In light of current challenges to gender equality and women’s rights, the conference will provide a platform for discussions on how Nordic countries can work together to uphold and advance the rights and safety of women and children.
The program will include Allan Wade and Shelly Dean from The Centre for Response-Based Practice in Canada, and panels, keynotes and workshops around the topics
- Safe housing and long-term support for survivors.
- Children as victims of domestic violence.
- Violence in young people’s relationships and digital abuse.
- Strategies to counter rollbacks on women’s rights in the Nordic region.
The conference will take place in Malmö at Clarion Hotel Malmö Live, right next to Malmö Central Station, which is located a 20 minute train ride from Copenhagen Airport.
